Emergency shelter
Emergency shelters are short term accommodation for those who are experiencing homelessness.
Emergency shelters in Oxford County include:
- The Inn: Overnight emergency shelter that primarily operates at Old St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Woodstock and Avondale United Church in Tillsonburg (from November to April). Daytime emergency shelter space also operates at College Avenue Church in Woodstock.
- Domestic Abuse Services Oxford County (DASO): A safe, secure space for women and their children impacted by domestic abuse and/or homelessness.
