For multi-residential
Oxford County is now offering an organics (green bin) curbside collection program for multi-residential properties. This includes apartment buildings, senior residences, or other buildings that contain six (6) or more residential units.
You must register to be considered for this program. Early registration is requested.
Requirements are:
- Applications must be completed by the property owner or designate.
- Your facility must be located along an existing collection route.
- You must comply with all collection requirements, i.e., set out times, use of bins, etc.
Process
- Property owner or designate completes the online application form.
- County Waste Management reviews the application and notifies the applicant of acceptance into the program or ineligibility.
- If accepted, the property will receive welcome/information materials and receive a site visit to confirm set-out arrangements. Registered properties will be onboarded into the program. Onboarding will include container delivery, site visits, information packages and program training. Early registration is encouraged.
- Organics collection start date is confirmed.
Timing
April 1, 2026: Program opens to registered multi-residential facilities and businesses located in the City of Woodstock and the Township of South-West Oxford
May 3, 2027: Collection begins for registered multi-residential facilities and businesses located in Blandford-Blenheim, East Zorra-Tavistock, Ingersoll, Norwich, Tillsonburg and Zorra. Early registration is encouraged to ensure registered properties are onboarded and ready for collection come May 2027.
