Employment supports

Clients in receipt of Ontario Works will be referred to a local Employment Ontario service provider for assistance with developing employment skills.

Oxford County is part of the London Regional Employment Services Network, and refers recipients to the following Service Providers for service:

  • Community Employment Services
  • Women's Employment Resource Centre
  • Employment Solutions
  • LEADS
  • Multi-Service Centre
  • Community Living Tillsonburg

If you are a parent in receipt of Ontario Works assistance and are 25 years old or younger, you will participate in the LEAP program.

This program includes access to:

  • Support towards earning a Grade 12 diploma
  • Children’s programming and parenting workshops
  • Personal support where needed
  • Help with job readiness

Contact your caseworker for more information about LEAP.
