Human Services
Oxford County takes an integrated approach to helping clients.
Human Services caseworkers consider many different factors when helping clients: income, education, health, transportation, employment, safety/legal, and shelter. By focusing on overall quality of life, we can help clients find out about other community programs and resources that can help meet their needs.
Our goal is to provide great service while helping clients enhance their quality of life and contribute to their community.

Oxford County and the Afro-Caribbean Business Network officially broke ground yesterday on a new affordable housing development at 175 Springbank Avenue North in Woodstock.
Members of the Afro-Caribbean Business Network, project partners and Oxford County gathered to mark the start of construction on the 45-unit residential apartment building, which will include 23 affordable housing units dedicated to supporting seniors, single women, and women with children.
The development represents another step forward in addressing local housing needs and increasing access to safe, affordable housing options across Oxford County.
