Notice of application for approval to expropriate land

Expropriations Act, R.R.O. 1990 Reg 363

IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION by the County of Oxford for approval to expropriate the lands in the City of Woodstock, Oxford County being:

All Right, Title and Interest (Fee Simple)

All of PIN 00079-0009 (LT)
Part of Lot 12, Concession 1 East Oxford, Township of Norwich; County of Oxford, designated as Parts 3 and 4 on Reference Plan 41R-11023

Registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Oxford (No. 41), for the municipal purpose of facilitating infrastructure and road improvements to the intersection of Oxford Road 4 and Oxford Road 15 in the City of Woodstock, together with ancillary works associated thereto.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application has been made for approval to expropriate the interest in the lands described hereinbefore. 

Any owner of lands in respect of which notice is given who desires a hearing into whether the taking of such land is fair, sound and reasonably necessary in the achievement of the objectives of the expropriating authority shall so notify the approving authority in writing:

a) in the case of a registered owner, served personally or by registered mail within thirty (30) days after the registered owner is served with the notice, or, when the registered owner is served by publication, within thirty (30) days after the first publication of the notice; and,

b) in the case of an owner who is not a registered owner, within thirty (30) days after the first publication of the notice.
