Thanksgiving 2026 closures in Oxford County

The Oxford County Administration Building, Provincial Offences Administration and Waste Management Facility will be closed for Thanksgiving on Monday, October 12, and will reopen on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

There will be no Oxford EarlyON programming on Monday. Programming will resume on Tuesday. Oxford County Library branches will also be closed for Thanksgiving.

Waste collection will be impacted in Woodstock and South-West Oxford (six-day cycle) with no waste collection on Monday, October 12. Collection will be pushed back one day in these communities. Monday waste collection in Zorra and north Ingersoll will remain unaffected by the holiday.

Essential services including Paramedic Services and Woodingford Lodge will continue to operate during the holiday.
