Leadership development update
A report to Council outlines how the County’s Oxford Leads program has supported internal candidates in filling 60% of leadership vacancies over the past two years, with over 90% of those leaders either currently enrolled or graduated from one of the Oxford Leads programs. The program supports the goals of attracting talent, responding to the development needs of staff, and retaining leadership talent for succession planning.
By the end of 2026, 138 employees will have participated in an Oxford Leads program. For 2027, the County has offered a number of spots in the Leadership Development Program stream to Oxford’s area municipalities.
