Wage range: $34.81/hr - $43.52/hr ($72,404.80 – $90,521.60)/Annually

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for inventory and asset management utilizing computerized asset control systems, facilitating equipment and vehicle maintenance programs, and coordinating daily logistical support for the Paramedic Service

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or related discipline. Additional training for industry-specific equipment maintenance and repair, such as conveyance equipment and oxygen equipment testing, is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a warehouse and material handling environment such as supply chain management, shipping and receiving, or performing vehicle or equipment maintenance. Experience working in health care or emergency services is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory/fleet management software, database and business intelligence tools
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Knowledge of relevant trends and legislation, best practices, and regulations such as the Provincial Equipment Standards for Ontario Ambulance Services. General mechanical aptitude is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with multiple deadlines and changing priorities, while taking direction from multiple individuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver programs or services.
  • Understanding of role specific health and safety responsibilities, and ensured compliance with internal and external safety policies, procedures, and legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • A valid Class "G" Driver’s Licence in good standing.
