By-law for governing the calling, place and proceedings of meetings
In compliance with the State of Emergency declared by the Province of Ontario due to COVID-19, specifically measures to limit public gatherings and reinforce physical distancing, all Oxford County Council meetings are being held electronically until further notice.
A Special Council Meeting was held Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at which time Council adopted By-law No. 6211-2020, being a By-law to amend the County’s Procedure By-Law No. 6023-2018. This amendment enables Council to meet virtually, which includes full participation and voting rights for participating members of Council. The amendment also altered the regular meeting schedule for the months of April and May 2020.

Regular meetings held on 2nd Wednesday of the month start at 9:30am. Meetings held on 4th Wednesday of the month start at 7:00pm. Two meetings per month unless otherwise specified(*).
Written and/or verbal comments will be considered at public meetings. Written comments can be submitted to the County's Customer Service Desk located in the Oxford County Administration Building, 21 Reeve Street, Woodstock - P.O. Box 1614, N4S 7Y3.
