Oxford Road 59 (Vansittart Avenue) – Devonshire Avenue to the north side of the bridge, Woodstock

 About this project

As part of the planned road reconstruction project outlined in Oxford County’s Capital Plan for 2025 and 2026, a study will be carried out on Oxford Road 35 (Devonshire Avenue) from Vansittart Avenue to Knightsbridge Road and Oxford Road 59 (Vansittart Avenue) from Devonshire Avenue to the north side of the bridge in Woodstock. How will the project impact me?

Traffic control

Local traffic can expect partial lane closures in the affected areas along the roadways. These closures are necessary to ensure the safety of both workers and the traveling public. The contractor will make every effort to minimize disruptions and provide traffic flagging to ensure the smooth flow of traffic around the workers on the roadway.

Safety

Stay safe and alert when driving or walking near the work area during construction. Respect work zones, obey traffic signs and follow instructions from flaggers and construction personnel. Maintain a safe distance from construction equipment and vehicles entering and leaving the site.
