Oxford Road 16 (Road 84) between 19th Line and 27th Line
About this project
Oxford Road 16 (Road 84) between 19th Line and 27th Line will be closed daily, Monday to Friday from Tuesday, October 10 until mid-December between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for hydro pole relocations. This closure will consist of localized road closures in this area but will allow access for local traffic only. Outside of these hours, the road will re-open.
What to expect
During this closure, the following operations will not be affected and are able to proceed as usual:
- Garbage and recycling collections
- School bus pick-up and drop-offs
- Milk and other agricultural shipments
Traffic control
In areas where the contractor will be working, these road closures will occupy no more than one (1) lane at a time. Traffic will be reduced to one (1) lane at these locations, requiring passing traffic to yield to oncoming traffic before proceeding. All local traffic control signage must be followed by travelling residents.
Garbage and recycling
Access for waste collection is not expected to be interrupted by construction.
