Oxford County celebrates 2026 Pride Month
Oxford County is proud to recognize Pride Month and celebrate the diversity, strength and resilience of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and the many allies who stand in solidarity.

Throughout June, Oxford County will recognize and celebrate Pride across the organization with a variety of events, activities and resources. Whether you choose to attend a local event, explore a new resource, or simply take a moment to listen and learn, Pride Month is an opportunity to celebrate the diverse voices and experiences that help shape Oxford County.
Oxford County Library
Saturday, June 6 – Rainbow Storytime
Oxford County Library (OCL), in partnership with Oxford County Pride, Woodstock Public Library (WPL) and Commonplace Books, invites families to a special Rainbow Storytime with Ms. Rubyyy on Saturday, June 6, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Commonplace Books in Ingersoll. The event will feature stories celebrating inclusion and diversity, followed by crafts led by OCL and WPL staff. Registration is required.
Saturday, June 13 – Oxford County Pride Family Day
Oxford County Library will host a booth at Oxford County Pride Family Day from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Museum Square in Woodstock. The event celebrates love, diversity and community with activities and entertainment for all ages. Learn more
Displays and crafts
Throughout June, watch your local Oxford County Library branch for Pride Month-themed displays, crafts and activities. The Ingersoll Branch will offer craft kits and button-making activities, while the Tillsonburg Branch will offer a beaded keychain craft.
2SLGBTQIA+ collection
Oxford County Library has curated a collection of 2SLGBTQIA+ titles and resources for children, teens and adults that celebrate diversity, inclusion and belonging. The collection features stories that help build empathy, confidence and kindness while expanding understanding and reflecting a wide range of voices and experiences. Explore the collection online.
Oxford County Archives
Follow Oxford County’s Facebook page or the Oxford County Archives Instagram page throughout Pride Season (June to September) for stories highlighting Pride history, Oxford County’s 2SLGBTQIA+ collections, and the importance of preserving community histories for future generations. Archives staff will also share resources and stories from organizations such as The ArQuives, Canada’s LGBTQ2+ Archives.
Tourism Oxford
Explore Tourism Oxford’s 2SLGBTQIA+ travel guides, Rainbow Registered businesses and inclusive experiences across Oxford County. From arts and culture to food, wellness and local getaways, the campaign highlights welcoming destinations and experiences throughout the region.
