Civic Holiday 2026 closures in Oxford County

The Oxford County Administration Building, Provincial Offences Administration and Waste Management Facility will be closed for the Civic Holiday on Monday, August 3, and will reopen on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

There will be no Oxford EarlyOn programming on Monday. Programming will resume on Tuesday.

Oxford County Library branches in Ingersoll and Tillsonburg will also be closed for the Civic Holiday. All other branches will not be impacted by the holiday.

Waste collection will be impacted in Woodstock and South-West Oxford (six-day cycle) with no waste collection on Monday, August 3. Collection will be pushed back one day. Monday waste collection in Zorra and north Ingersoll will remain unaffected by the holiday.

Essential services including Paramedic Services and Woodingford Lodge will continue to operate during the holiday.
