POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining Wastewater Treatment Plant equipment, facilities, buildings and computer maintenance records.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed Industrial Mechanic/ Millwright.
- Experience with computers, preventative maintenance programs and data entry is required.
- Must be able to obtain Maintenance Gas Fitters and Digester Gas System Maintenance certificates, Ministry-approved welding certificate.
- Must be able to obtain certification as a wastewater treatment operator.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s license required (AZ/DZ preferred).
- Past mechanical experience with regards to blueprint reading, mechanical safety, welding, electronics, hydraulics, and proper maintenance procedures.
- Must be able to work on own and be self motivated.
- Developed written and oral communication skills
