Defining ourselves as a County that "performs and delivers results" is one of the six priorities outlined in Oxford County’s Strategic Plan.
At the core of this promise is our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to our clients: that is, our residents, municipal partners, community partners, businesses, and visitors.
Regularly reporting back on our performance keeps us focused on our customers and clients and how we can continue to improve the services we offer. Some of the ways we share our performance with the public include:
- Financial information and performance, covering not only financial statements, business plans, budget, and information on fees, levies and charges, but also our long-term strategies for financial policy, risk management, asset management, etc.
- Annual reports that share our achievements, program information, and financial information
- Strategic Plan updates, which kick off in 2015 with formal reporting on how we are delivering on the strategic directions--or priorities-- laid out in the Strategic Plan
- Benchmarking against our peer municipalities in the form of annual updates filed under Performance measures
