OCAB to remain temporarily closed due to waterline break
The Oxford County Administration Building (OCAB) remains temporarily closed to the public as staff respond to water damage caused by a failed waterline connection in the building’s mechanical area.
An exception will be made for Human (Social) Services clients only on Monday, June 30, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Cheques can be picked up during this time at the Peel Street entrance. To contact Human Services, email humanservices@oxfordcounty.ca or call 519-539-9800, ext. 3390.
Please note that Oxford County is unable to process online purchases for garbage bag tags and backflow test tags at this time. Garbage bag tags can be purchased at a number of retail locations across the County. These items can also be requested by contacting Customer Service at customerservice@oxfordcounty.ca or 519-539-9800.
Water damage is present in varying degrees on all four floors of the building. An estimated reopening date will be shared once the timeline for repairs has been determined.
