Employee information may have been compromised as part of IT cyber incident
Through the ongoing forensic investigation of Oxford County’s cyber incident, we have determined there is reason to believe that the personal information of our current and former employees may have been compromised as a result of this incident.
We are deeply sorry to share this news with our current and former staff.
Past employees will be contacted through a mailed letter to their last known address to be advised of precautionary measures and support we are able to offer. To submit updated contact information if you are a past employee, visit www.oxfordcounty.ca/it-incident-updates.
At this stage, we are still investigating whether and to what extent the personal information of other groups may be compromised. If it is determined that the personal information of other individuals has been compromised, we will carry out notifications as quickly as possible to those affected.
We ask for patience as we work through further steps. We will continue to provide as much information as we can, as we are able.
