Winter weather waste collections delays – Dec 11, 2025
Oxford County is experiencing waste collection delays this week due to winter weather leading to poor visibility and road conditions.
If your recycling and garbage is not collected by 7:00 p.m. on your regularly scheduled pick-up day, please put it back out the following morning by 7:00 a.m. If your material is not collected by noon on the second day, please call 1-800-755-0394 ext. 3159 during regular business hours or email wastemanagement@oxfordcounty.ca.
As a reminder, during winter collection your garbage and recycling should still be placed at the bottom of your driveway or at the curb. It should not be placed on a snowbank or sidewalks where it will not be collected for health and safety reasons.
