Oxford Road 2 (Dundas Street) reconstruction in Woodstock
Public information meeting to be held February 26 for residents to learn more and ask questions
Oxford County is beginning road reconstruction work on Oxford Road 2 (Dundas Street) between Oxford Road 30 (11th Line) and Oxford Road 12 (Mill Street) in Woodstock.
Beginning in spring 2026, this section of Dundas Street will be closed to through traffic in both directions. Traffic will be limited to local residents, businesses and emergency services and a detour route will be in place using Oxford Road 30 (11th Line), Oxford Road 17 and Oxford Road 59 (Vansittart Avenue). This work will be completed in three phases and additional detour routes will be in place during construction. This work is expected to finish in November 2026.
Members of the public who would like to learn more about the project are invited to attend the Public Information Centre where they can view plans and speak to Public Works Engineering staff.
