Oxford County Archives, Oxford Ancestors, and the Oxford Historical Society are teaming up to host a holiday book sale inside the main lobby of the Oxford County Administration Building. 

Where: Main lobby of the Oxford County Administration Building, 21 Reeve Street, Woodstock

When: Wednesday, December 10, 2025

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Celebrate the festive season at this one-day book sale, which features a wide selection of books on local history and genealogy. Oxford County Archives proudly presents its most recent publications:

Growing Stronger Together: A Celebration of Oxford County’s Past

Growing Stronger Together: A Celebration of Oxford County’s Past is a magnificent collection of stories, histories, and firsthand accounts of life in Oxford County over the past 175 years! Including folklore, true crimes, heroes, and Elvis, from a variety of community collaborators, the book celebrates the County’s fascinating history.

 

Family History and Memory Book

The Family History and Memory Book is a fun and meaningful way for anyone to record their personal or family history. The interactive book includes a family tree diagram, a recipe section, genealogical and autobiographical questions, as well as blank pages for scrapbooking mementos.

 

Honouring Oxford: Memorials and Cenotaphs of the Great War

Honouring Oxford: Memorials and Cenotaphs of the Great War commemorates the local communities that chose to honour fallen soldiers during the First World War through the creation of memorials and cenotaphs that highlight the lives and achievements of the men listed on the monuments.
