Join the Accessibility Advisory Committee
Make a difference in your community by joining the Accessibility Advisory Committee
Oxford County invites engaged citizens to join the Accessibility Advisory Committee. There are two citizen member openings for the remainder of the 2023-2026 Oxford County Council term. This Committee of Council provides input on the Oxford County Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, monitors federal and provincial government directives and regulations, and advocates for people living with disabilities in Oxford County.
The Oxford County Accessibility Advisory Committee comprises six public members and one County Councillor, meeting bi-monthly. Meetings offer both in-person and online participation. Volunteering for the Accessibility Advisory Committee is a great way to share your perspective and help shape the accessibility initiatives for Oxford County’s future.
Residents interested in applying are asked to submit a resume and a cover letter outlining their lived experience and desire to improve accessibility in Oxford County by April 2, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. to:
Lindsey Mansbridge, Clerk, Oxford County
21 Reeve Street, P.O. Box 1614,
