POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Coordinator of Energy Management, supports the effective and efficient delivery of energy management, in alignment with the County’s sustainability efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education in the field of energy management, energy systems technology, energy engineering technology, data management or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 year’s experience in energy and/or data management.
- Knowledge of statutes and regulations related to energy management and the Electricity Act would be an asset.
- Effective communication skills including both verbal and written communication, time management, computer literacy and customer service.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel), databases, and e-mail use. Experience in energy monitoring software is considered an asset.
- Knowledge developing baseline models to predict energy usage and costs.
