Temporary Stop Signs being installed at Keg Lane and Brant-Oxford Road
Read this news release on the County of Brant website
Please be advised that temporary stop signs will be installed at the intersection of Keg Lane and Brant-Oxford Road on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
This change will create a temporary three-way stop to address increasing traffic delays and improve safety at the intersection. The new configuration is intended to reduce the risk of unsafe driving behaviours, such as risky turning maneuvers.
The temporary stop signs will:
- Allow westbound traffic on Keg Lane to turn more safely onto Brant-Oxford Road.
- Provide southbound drivers on Brant-Oxford Road with a controlled opportunity to turn onto Keg Lane.
- Help manage congestion and improve traffic flow through the intersection.
While this temporary measure may result in minor delays for north-south traffic on Brant-Oxford Road, it is an important step to enhance safety for all road users.
We kindly ask all drivers to use extra caution and remain attentive as the community adjusts to the new stop sign installation.
Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to road safety.
