Temporary lane closures at Springbank and Parkinson intersection in Woodstock to start August 20

A partial road closure will be in effect for one week to complete intersection improvements

Lane restrictions on Springbank Avenue at the intersection of Oxford Road 15 (Parkinson Road) are expected to start on Wednesday, August 20, for approximately one week to complete outstanding work.

One lane will be closed on each of the east, north and west legs of the intersection, leaving one lane open in each direction. All lanes on the south leg will remain open. Traffic signal timing and adjustments will be put in place to improve traffic flow while lane closures are in place. 

During construction, local traffic is asked to use secondary entrances located out of the work zone to access local businesses. Motorists can expect delays and are encouraged to use alternative routes.

Construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change based on contractor availability and other operational demands. Please help keep our community and workers safe: respect work zones, obey traffic signs, and maintain a safe distance from equipment and vehicles entering and leaving the site.
