Oxford Road 59 bridge in Woodstock to re-open on August 15, 2025

The Oxford Road 59 (Vansittart Avenue) bridge in Woodstock will re-open to regular two-way traffic late afternoon on August 15, 2025. The Vansittart and Devonshire intersection will operate as a three-way stop for local traffic until traffic signals are put into operation next week. 

Oxford Road 35 (Devonshire Avenue) remains closed from Vansittart Avenue to Victoria Street North as part of a multi-year road reconstruction project, with local access only for people living, working, or visiting a property or business in the area. 

Work on the Oxford Road 59 bridge finished in April, but lane restrictions were put into effect afterwards for work on the intersection as part of Devonshire Avenue reconstruction.
