Make a difference in your community by joining the Land Division Committee
Oxford County seeks engaged citizens looking to make a difference in our community by joining the Land Division Committee. The Land Division Committee has one opening for a citizen member for the remainder of the 2023-2026 council term. The committee is responsible for decisions on land severance applications based on the specific policies and requirements for land severance in the Provincial Planning Statement and the Oxford County Official Plan.
The Land Division Committee is comprised of seven members and meets on the first Thursday of the month in the Council Chambers of the County Administration Building. Land Division Committee meetings are open to the public.
Residents interested in applying are asked to submit, in writing or by email, an application including a resume by August 29, at 4:30 p.m. to:
