Flag notice: Survivors' Flag flying at Oxford County Administration Building

Back to Search

On September 30, Canada will observe National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day that recognizes the tragic legacy of residential schools while also drawing attention to the 94 calls for action in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Reports.

As an organization, Oxford County is flying the Survivors’ Flag outside the Oxford County Administration Building. More importantly, we continue to examine our role and look for opportunities to take action.

In honour of National Truth and Reconciliation Day, Indigenous artwork is on display inside the front lobby of the Oxford County Administration Building.

The Oxford County Administration Building will be closed on Friday September 30, for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
