Strategic Plan update
County Council will receive a progress update next council meeting on the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan. The report notes that significant progress has been made on many of the goals and objectives, while other initiatives have longer durations and are ongoing in scope without definitive completion dates. Over 2024 and 2025 to date, 61 departmental business plan goals have supported the Strategic Plan’s “Promoting community vitality” pillar; 25 have supported “Enhancing environmental sustainability”; and 89 have supported “Fostering progressive government.” The report includes a graphical information sheet showing highlights from the report.

New all-way stop at OR 33 and 60 in East Zorra-Tavistock
Oxford County Council is being asked to approve a new all-way stop at Oxford Road 33 and Oxford Road 60 (16th Line) in East Zorra-Tavistock based on the findings of an intersection control feasibility study. The intersection was identified in the 2024 Transportation Master Plan as one of 10 rural locations for further assessment. Improvements to the intersection will include stop-ahead signs with red flashing warning beacons, rumble strips, pavement markings, and intersection lighting.
