Back to Search

Southwestern Public Health has issued a boil water advisory for Sweaburg in South-West Oxford. This also extends to the 401 Eastbound Woodstock ONroute.

Public Health is advising residents to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, making infant formula or juice, brushing teeth, washing raw foods, or making ice.

This advisory follows water sample results that show the presence of bacteria in the water. The advisory is in effect until two consecutive bacteriological sets, or resamples, are returned showing the water is safe.
