POSITION SUMMARY
- Assisting Oxford County’s Water and Wastewater Technical Services staff with the delivery and administration of diverse water and wastewater programs.
- Under the guidance of technical Services staff, assists in the creation and revision of policies, procedures, operations manuals, data summaries, and reports, requiring a high level of attention to detail.
- Reviews CCTV footage of wastewater collection systems and works with the water and Wastewater technologists to perform asset condition assessments.
- Performs water quality analysis on non-regulatory groundwater samples.
- Assists with physical and digital data archiving at the direction of the supervisor.
- Traveling throughout the County to water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- G2 or G driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Enrolled in a post-secondary program in a related field.
- Familiar in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Familiar with municipal water and/or wastewater systems is considered an asset.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You are currently enrolled on a full-time basis at a post-secondary institution and will be returning to a post-secondary institution on a full-time basis in the fall or winter of 2026
