POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Waste Management Coordinator, works in the landfill scale house. Greets customers, advises on rules, weighs vehicles, collects required data and fees. Checks work for accuracy of regulatory compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Oxford County and area municipal geography and boundaries and of the County’s waste management programs.
- Basic knowledge of computers, related software and basic equipment repairs.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable to working conditions which will entail outdoor functions in a rural setting.
- Reliable transportation to work required.
