POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for collecting, organizing, recording, and analyzing data to support planning and implementation of the asset management program, and provide direction to County staff in relation to asset management functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related discipline. Additional training in asset management or project management is an asset.

Demonstrated experience in a municipal financial setting. Experience in asset management-related principles, processes and best practices, related to full lifecycle activities, is preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Knowledge of relevant trends, legislation, and best practices (including PAS 55, IAM – Institute of Asset Management, ISO 55000 standards)

Demonstrated ability to deal with multiple deadlines and changing priorities while taking direction from multiple individuals.

Ability to provide a high level of attention to detail, make sense of data and solve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Understanding of role specific health and safety responsibilities, and ensured compliance with internal and external safety policies, procedures, and legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Valid Ontario drivers’ license required.

An acceptable Criminal Record Check will be required.
