- Marketing & Readiness Handouts: Tourism Oxford has prepared several checklists and help sheets for businesses. New handouts include Tourism Marketing Resources (includes links to get Google & Trip Advisor listings), Help others talk about you on social media, Welcoming visitors online, and Welcoming visitors on arrival. Oxford County Cheese Trail |
Join the Oxford County Cheese Trail Tourism Oxford is hosting two information sessions for local businesses to learn about and express interest in joining the 2023 Oxford County Cheese Trail Local businesses interested in joining the Oxford County Cheese Trail next year can attend one of two one-hour information sessions hosted by Tourism Oxford. Attendees can expect to learn about how the Oxford County Cheese Trail works, what partner involvement looks like, consumer expectations and standards, and next steps following the information session. The first session will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. at the Tillsonburg BIA. Register online here. The second session will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oxford County Administration Building. Register online here. The Oxford County Cheese Trail is a partnership of over 25 businesses, annually committed to product offers, hours, meetings and collaboration. Not every business that is interested can be involved; there are limited spaces based on business type, offer, geography, proximity to other stops, and customer experience. Businesses interested in joining the Oxford County Cheese trail must attend one meeting and half day bus tour of the Cheese Trail. Interested businesses unable to attend one of the two meetings can contact Tourism Oxford to enquire about scheduling another information session.
