Oxford County’s new eight-unit micro-build at 738 Parkinson Road in Woodstock is another affordable housing project that has come on line this year as the County works towards its Strategic Plan goal of being “100% housed.”

The prefabricated modular units are in addition to the existing 36-unit building at the site. Each unit is 330 square feet in size and includes a kitchen, bed, bathroom and living area. The project, jointly funded by Oxford County and Ontario’s Social Services Relief Fund, provides another option to the County’s community housing supply and will help move people from the housing waitlist into a home.
