Tourism Oxford is hosting two information sessions for local businesses to learn about and express interest in joining the 2023 Oxford County Cheese Trail

Local businesses interested in joining the Oxford County Cheese Trail next year can attend one of two one-hour information sessions hosted by Tourism Oxford. Attendees can expect to learn about how the Oxford County Cheese Trail works, what partner involvement looks like, consumer expectations and standards, and next steps following the information session.

The first session will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. at the Tillsonburg BIA. Register online at www.oxfordcounty.ca/cheesetrailworkshop.

The second session will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oxford County Administration Building. Register online at www.oxfordcounty.ca/cheesetrailworkshop.

The Oxford County Cheese Trail is a partnership of over 25 businesses, annually committed to product offers, hours, meetings and collaboration. Not every business that is interested can be involved; there are limited spaces based on business type, offer, geography, proximity to other stops, and customer experience. Businesses interested in joining the Oxford County Cheese trail must attend one meeting and half day bus tour of the Cheese Trail. Interested businesses unable to attend one of the two meetings can contact Tourism Oxford to enquire about scheduling another information session.

Meredith Maywood, Tourism Specialist, Oxford County

“We’d like to offer visitors a more fulsome experience along the Cheese Trail by filling the gaps between stops and offering more variety in both products and experiences. Businesses offering accommodation as well as restaurants, retail and cultural shops are all welcome to attend an information session to see what the Oxford County Cheese Trail has to offer.”
