Oxford County seeks an engaged citizen looking to make a difference in our community by joining the Accessibility Advisory Committee. The opening is for the remainder of the 2023-2026 council term. While this is a volunteer position, board members are entitled to some remuneration for their time and expenses to attend meetings. Advisory Board members receive $100 for half-day or less and $175 for a full day. 

The Accessibility Advisory Committee provides input on the Oxford County Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, monitors federal and provincial government directives and regulations, and advocates for people with disabilities in Oxford County.

Residents interested in applying are asked to submit, in writing or by email, an application including a resume by March 23, at 4:00 p.m. to:
