The goals of the Cycling Advisory Committee are as follows:

  • To advocate and promote community education and events to increase cycling safety and participation;
  • To advocate and engage organizations/businesses to support cycling in Oxford County;
  • To support, advocate and assist with the creation of a safer cycling environment;
  • To assist with cycling policies, strategies and programs;
  • To facilitate communication and collaboration among the eight area municipalities, stakeholders and community partners;
  • To assist and promote cycling tourism within Oxford County.

Residents interested in applying are asked to submit, in writing or by email, an application including a resume by June 25, 4:00 p.m. to:

Chloe Senior, Clerk, County of Oxford
P.O. Box 1614, 21 Reeve St.
Woodstock, ON N4S 7Y3

Serving on a community board or committee can be immensely rewarding. But it also requires a great deal of commitment and passion. Volunteering on a committee is a great way to share your talents while helping set strategic direction for the future.
