Business plan and budget update

Council receives its quarterly report on the County’s business plan and budget on May 12. Based on current circumstances, the report is projecting an overall year-end surplus of $134,116. This encompasses deficits for the County’s general levy and waste and wastewater system, and then projected surpluses in library services and program reserve funds. The report also updates Council on budget monitoring for Southwestern Public Health, the Economic Stimulus Fund and Ontario’s modernization funding. The next financial update for Council will be in August for the period ending June 30, 2021.
