The Wrapped in Courage "End Gender-Based Violence" flag to be flown Nov 24 - Dec 10 at Oxford County Administration Building

The Oxford County Administration Building will raise the "End Gender-Based Violence" purple flag with the Wrapped in Courage campaign logo on Thursday, November 24, in recognition of November being Woman Abuse Prevention Month and the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women / Wrapped in Courage Campaign / 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence. The flag will be flown until Thursday, December 10.

In recognition of the National Day of Remembrance and Action Against Violence Against Women on Tuesday, December 6, flags will be flown at half-mast at all Oxford County facilities. 

Oxford County Council proclaimed November 25 as the Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women in Oxford County in 2021.
