Provincial Offences Act court closure extended
The Chief Justice of Ontario has cancelled all Provincial Offences Act court dates between March 16 and September 25, 2020. Additionally, there will be no in-person or trial court dates until October 19, at the earliest. Limited matters will be able to proceed by audio (telephone) appearance beginning the week of September 28. If you have a matter scheduled during this time, do not attend court.

Oxford County Library re-open Ingersoll and Tillsonburg Libraries for on-site services

Oxford Economic Stimulus Fund provides $90,000 in stimulus grants
The Oxford Economic Stimulus Fund has provided COVID-19-related stimulus grants to five local organizations in Oxford County in its first release of funds totalling $90,000. More.
Woodingford Lodge-Woodstock secondary test result shows employee does *not* have COVID-19
Public Health follow-up and a secondary test result show that a Woodingford Lodge-Woodstock employee test result from September 25 was a false positive: the employee does *not* have COVID-19. With this result, Woodingford Lodge currently remains clear of COVID-19.
Because “false positives” do occur for healthcare workers, moving forward, when there is an active investigation underway at Woodingford Lodge, this information will be posted to www.oxfordcounty.ca/woodingford. If there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 at any of the Woodingford Lodge sites, a public announcement will be issued.
Oxford County's Waste Management Facility returns to regular hours
The Waste Management Facility in Salford has resumed regular business hours for residential and commercial users. Customers are encouraged to follow provincial health guidelines around physical distancing, and to avoid any non-essential trips to the facility. Customers who do visit the facility with essential loads may experience delays. Do not visit the facility if you are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. More information.
Bag tags now available online
Based on feedback, bag tags are now available through online purchasing at www.wasteline.ca/bagtags. Bag tags remain available where many shop for food, gasoline and convenience items and can still be purchased on those outings. Read more about online bag tag purchasing.
County Council during COVID-19
In compliance with the State of Emergency declared by the Province of Ontario due to COVID-19, specifically measures to limit public gatherings and reinforce physical distancing, all Oxford County Council meetings are being held electronically until further notice. Accessing service at Oxford County Administration Building
The Oxford County Administration Building is serving the public by telephone, email, or appointment between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. only. This means the general public will not be allowed to enter the building without a pre-booked appointment except for deliveries. The designated entry point for all pre-booked visits is the Peel Street entrance (south doors). Once you enter for an appointment, you will have to go through a screening process that includes taking your temperature with a touch-free infrared thermometer. You will also be asked to wear a face covering while on site.
