Landfill Tipping Fees:
Effective, January 1, 2010, Oxford County Landfill tipping fees will increase to $62.06/metric tonne. There is a $10.00 minimum and the site remains cash only!

·         Bring - steel, copper, aluminum, barbecues (without tank), lawn mowers, appliances, bicycles (without tires)

·         Don't bring – items containing freon, non-metal furniture, microwaves, propane tanks, tires, wood, building materials

 

White Goods Collection - 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Dates & Locations:

May 8 – Public Works Yard, 20 Spruce Street, Tillsonburg

May 29 – General Motors, 1401 Parkinson Road, Woodstock

June 5 – Public Works Yard, Pemberton Street, Ingersoll

September 18 – Public Works Yard, 944 James Street, Woodstock

 

·         Bring scrap metal & household appliances including freon containing items such as fridges, freezers & air conditioners, etc.

·         There will be no charge for freon extraction

 

Household Hazardous Waste & Tire Collection - 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Dates & Locations:

May 1 – General Motors, 1401 Parkinson Road, Woodstock

May 8 – Public Works Yard, 20 Spruce Street, Tillsonburg

June 5 - CAMI, 300 Ingersoll Street, Ingersoll

September 18 – Public Works Yard, 944 James Street, Woodstock

 

·         Don't bring PCB material, radioactive material, materials of unknown composition & pathological wastes, tires still on the rim, & no agricultural tires

·         Containers used to transport material must be no larger than a 5 gallon pail, remain at the collection event & must be clearly labeled

 

Electronics Collection - 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

·         Bring - computers, monitors, desktop printers, fax machines, hard drives, motherboards, mice, keyboards, cell phones, rechargeable batteries, video & audio devices, video game consoles & televisions

·         Don't bring - speakers, microwaves & small appliances (i.e. coffee makers, irons, kettles, blenders)

 

**Free paper shredding will be offered and canned food donations accepted at all events except Scrap Metal Depots.**
