Emergency preparedness

Are you prepared?

Emergencies can happen any time, anywhere, leaving you stranded in your vehicle or confined to your home or workplace. It can leave you without basic services like water, gas, electricity or a working telephone. Are you prepared?

People are better able to cope when they have a plan. Being prepared for an emergency includes making an emergency survival kit that contains the basic items you need for at least three days.

  1. Know the risks
  2. Make a plan
  3. Make a kit
