The trail starts on a long wide grassy lane, which goes into a mature hardwood bush. It then travels into an array of vegetation: pine, cedar, wetland and field. Doors Open Oxford - The Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association

The Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association, located at the Tillsonburg Airport, begins its 25th Anniversary Season. They will be celebrating Veterans & Youth Day and Doors Open Oxford on June 26th. “This will be a great day to honour our Veterans” mentions Bob Trowell from the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association. “We’re expecting large crowds to take in all of the festivities.” Special ceremonies will take place in the morning with many veterans and legion members present. The Ingersoll Pipe Band will provide stirring music to accompany the event. Memorial aircraft, flyovers along with the Harvard Aerobatic Team will add special significance to the occasion. Protecting the sources of our municipal drinking water is an important step toward ensuring that there is enough safe, clean drinking water for all.The Clean Water Act has been passed by the Ontario legislature to protect municipal drinking water sources throughout Ontario. Drinking water source protection will allow for the identification of risks to municipal water quality and water supplies, and the creation of a plan to reduce those risks. The task of developing a plan will involve watershed residents, working with municipalities, conservation authorities, farmers, landowners, businesses, industry and others. Conservation authorities will co-ordinate the development of scientific knowledge about water issues, and facilitate the planning process.
