Supplying tobacco products of any kind to someone under the age of 19 is against the law. It is also now an offence to fail to ask for identification from someone who appears to be less than 25 years of age.
It is your job as a retailer to refrain from promoting tobacco, selling tobacco products to minors, and making sure that tobacco is displayed and handled appropriately. To understand your responsibilities please reference the Smoke-Free Ontario Act and the associated regulations.

No smoking signage: Employers and proprietors must place "No Smoking" signs at each entrance/exit of their workplaces, washroom doors, and other appropriate locations and in sufficient numbers to ensure that employees and the public are aware that no smoking is permitted in the enclosed workplace or enclosed public place.
