October 23: Fall flushing
Regular fall flushing of water mains will take place from Sunday, October 28 until Friday, November 2, starting in the southwest area of Ingersoll. Residents may notice discoloured water or sediment during this period. If you have discoloured water, flush your household water lines by running water through an outside tap or a laundry faucet that is not connected to a water softener or filter. |
September 7: Watermain Relining
Construction work will take place on sections of King Solomon St, Metcalfe St, Bruce St and King St East for the relining of old cast iron watermains. This work is expected to significantly reduce discoloured water occurrences and should be finished by the end of October. If your water is discoloured during this time, please run it through a cold water tap that is not connected to treatment equipment until it is clear again. |
