Did you know in 2010 Oxford County recycled 6948 tires!
Requirements of Tire Disposal:
- Only off rim tires will be accepted.
- Tires must be clean.
- No more then 8 tires can be brought without making a appointment. If you have a larger amount please contact the Waste Management Department to schedule a time for drop off.
- Acceptable tires include:
| On-Road Passenger & Light Truck Tires: |
- small RV, ST trailer, Temp Spare, Motorcycle, Golf Cart, and ATV tires
- Free-rolling Farm, Small Utility, Small Industrial, Forklift and Bobcat/Steer tires 16" and under

| On-Road Passenger & Light Truck Tires: |
- Truck and Bus Tires including Wide Base or Heavy Truck tires designed for truck/bus applications and Larger RV tires not marked "P or LT"

| Off-Road Tires - Agricultural Drive and Logger Skidder: |
- includes drive wheel tires used on tractors and combines and tree harvest equipment. Normally identified with sidewall marking suffix letters (R), or (HF) or (LS) and are 16.5" and up rim size.

| Off-Road Tires - Small and Large Industrial Tires: |
- solid industrial tires e.g. for Forklift Trucks, etc.
- pneumatic forklift tires and Bobcat/Skid Steer Tires measuring 16.5" and over

Things we don't accept...
- tires on toys
- bicycle tires
- personal mobility device tires
- commercial aircraft tires
- shredded and cut tires
