Update for health care professionals: Gonorrhea testing
All sexually active persons who have signs and symptoms of gonorrhea should be tested. Health care providers should use the Public Health Ontario (PHO) Guidelines for Testing and Treatment of Gonorrhea in Ontario (2013), rather than the recently updated Public Health Agency of Canada, Canadian Guidelines on Sexually Transmitted Infections, Section 5 - Gonococcal Infections.
