County of Oxford cedes delivery of Ontario Early Years program in Oxford

The County of Oxford has notified the Ministry of Children and Youth Services that it will no longer deliver the Ontario Early Years program in Oxford County effective March 31, 2012.

The Department of Social Services & Housing has been the primary service provider for Ontario Early Years Centre–Oxford since 2003. Funding for the Ontario Early Years program is provided by the Government of Ontario and the County of Oxford, with local programming also supported by community partners.

Over the coming months the Ministry of Children and Youth Services will consider options for the continued delivery of Ontario Early Years programs in Oxford County.
