Oxford County residents and event planners invited to learn more about hosting zero waste events
Participants will learn how to recycle, reuse and reduce waste at functions of any size

Yes, your event can be waste free! Find out how at this free workshop where you’ll learn waste reduction tips for events of all sizes, from the office party or family gathering to large-scale events like the Canterbury Folk Festival.

This event will also introduce the new “Zero Waste Event Planning” book, a green event planning guide specifically designed for Oxford County residents.

Mariela McIlwraith, co-author of “Meet Better: 167 Easy Ways to Make Your Events More Environmentally and Socially responsible,” will share digital resources.
