NOTICE OF STUDY COMPLETION CLASS ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT (CLASS EA)
Part of OXFORD ROAD 16 (Road 84) Improvements, from Kintore to Zorra 31st Line
Oxford County has completed a Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) in accordance with Schedule C of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (October 2000, amended 2007 & 2011) to consider alternatives for transportation corridor improvements to satisfy future travel demands on Oxford Road 16 (see attached).
An Environmental Study Report (ESR) has been completed that documents the Class Environmental Assessment process. The ESR was accepted by Oxford County Council on December 14, 2016, and will be available for public review for 45 days starting on December 22, 2016 and ending on February 6, 2017 at the following locations:

The ESR is also available for review on the Oxford County website at: www.oxfordcounty.ca
Written comments on the Environmental Study Report (ESR) should be provided within 45 calendar days of the date of first issue of this notice and should be addressed to:

If concerns regarding this Class EA cannot be resolved with Oxford County, a person may request the Minister of Environment and Climate Change to issue a Part II Order for an individual environmental assessment. Requests for a Part II Order must be received by the Minister at the address noted below by February 6, 2017. A copy of the request for a Part II Order must also be sent to Oxford County.

If there is no request for a Part II Order, implementation of the preferred solution for the improvements to part of Oxford Road 16 as presented in the ESR will proceed.
